Five artists - one vision - a force to be reckoned with !

After a four year span of successful albums, sold-out tours and a plethora of media attention, four fifth of German multi-platinum act LaFee broke all the chains and set themselves free aiming for new challenges beyond the horizon.

That is why Ricky Garcia (guitar), Goran Vujic (bass), Klaus Hochhäuser (keyboards) and Tamon Nüssner (drums) decided to join forces again in early 2010 - TIEF was born !

However, the creative foursome knew that there was a piece of the puzzle yet to be added: A gifted artist armed with a stellar voice and an equally outstanding personality.

And the perfect piece they found: Enter the wonderful and talented Miss Jana Wall whose stunning vocal qualities, drive and determination all rolled into one have added that extra dimension to the musical powerhouse that is TIEF.

Ever since that day the group has been on an endless energetic high with all systems in beast mode. Jana, Ricky, Goran, Klaus and Tamon have embarked on a journey on which they'll continue to bend over backwards in order to spread their blend of Melancholic, Metallic and Mystic over the loudspeakers and stages of the world.

The sonic explosion emanating from the confines of TIEF's recording studio is bound to rock your socks off: A sexy beast, a tasty feast for the ears spiced up with the finest ingredients Alternative, Gothic, Rockmantic and German Pop have to offer.

What else is new ? Every single member of this band religiously cares about their fans. And they want them to be involved, too, from day one until the completion of their debut album and beyond. That's why they vow to share everything TIEF on the band's official website www.tiefmusic.net, allowing their fans access and input like few other bands have done before.

Said album will see the light of day before 2010 is in the books but it's easy to already imagine legions of devotees screaming off the top of their lungs: "In TIEF we believe !"

TIEF vocalist Jana Wall has been singing ever since she was four years of age.

When asked about her main musical influences the 25-year old cosmopolitan gives major credit to artists such as Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, India Arie, Randy Crawford and the Beatles.

Besides a number of successful exploits in the acting industry the Soviet Union born singer also worked as a model for renowned agencies ,,Most Wanted Models" (Germany) and ,,Models Affair (Italy).

After an extensive stint in New York, during which she further developed her artistic skills under the tutelage of producing hotshots The Jettsonz (Sean-Paul, Nina Sky), the Munich-based vocalist returned to Germany armed with a plethora of inspiration and ideas to boot.

Next Jana impressed the heck out of Ricky, Goran, Klaus and Tamon by showcasing her amazing vocal qualities, a charming personality as well as infectious drive and dediciation, which eventually led to her joining TIEF in April of 2010.

TIEF six-stringer Ricky Garcia earned a degree at the renowned Berklee College Of Music in Boston/USA and has since honed his craft by working with and/or for a number of different musical projects. Over the years Ricky has released a total of three instrumental solo albums one of which features an appearance by Dream Theatre's Jordan Rudess.

Besides his musical endeavours the Cologne-born axeman works for a radio program interviewing famous guitarists such as Steve Vai (David Lee Roth, Whitesnake), Richie Kotzen (Mr. Big, Poison), Joe Satriani (Deep Purple, Chickenfoot) or Steve Morse (Dixie Dregs, Deep Purple). Other important influences for his career as a musician are bands such as Metallica, Pantera or Guns'n'Roses according to the devoted fitness buff himself.

Ricky was a founding member of the 2006-formed multi-platinum act LAFEE and stayed with the band until its dissolution in 2009; during that time he also produced a DVD for Asian guitar manufacturer CORT.

In early 2010 Ricky along with his fellow LAFEE companions Tamon, Goran and Klaus co-founded the band TIEF; another two months later Ricky asked Munich-based vocalist Jana Wall if she was interested in joining the foursome. Fortunately she didn't hesitate a bit and was added to the fold immediately.

TIEF bass guitarist Goran comes from a very musical background.

After spending the first eleven years of his life in Serbia he and his family relocated to Germany; that is where he discovered his love for music and the bass guitar in particular.

Parallel to receiving formal training Goran quickly joined his first band. Numerous musical projects and album recordings later he enrolled at the renowned Folkwang Hochschule in Essen/Germany working towards a degree in Jazz.

Goran Vujic cites top-notch instrumentalists John Patitucci and Jaco Pastorius as his biggest musical influences.

In 2006 the dedicated martial artist joined multi-platinum act LAFFE and remained a strong contributor to the band's success story until its dissolution in 2009.

Then, in early 2010 Goran along with his fellow LAFEE companions Ricky, Tamon and Klaus co-founded the band TIEF, before welcoming cosmopolitan singer Jana Wall to the mix a mere two months later.

TIEF keyboarder Klaus Hochhäuser was born into a very musical family.


Over his career this extremely likable artist worked with and/or for numerous musically diverse acts often alternating between keyboards and electric bass guitar.


The Cologne-born Hochhäuser cites band such as Deep Purple, Queensryche, Iron Maiden and Metallica as his earliest and biggest musical influences.


Klaus was a founding member of the 2006-formed multi-platinum act LAFEE and stayed with the band until its dissolution in 2009, followed by a sustained stint as the touring keyboarder for German-Korean metal act Krypteria rocking stages all over Europe.


In early 2010 Klaus along with his fellow LAFEE companions Ricky, Goran and Tamon co-founded the band TIEF; a mere two months later Munich-based singer Jana Wall joined the group for whom the only way appears to be up

After years of semi-professional playing TIEF drummer Tamon Nüssner enrolled at the Jazz Academy in Maastricht/Netherlands where he continued to hone his percussive skills.

When asked about his early musical influences the Aachen-born skinsman cites band such as Iron Maiden, Faith No More, Guns'n'Roses and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Tamon was a founding member of the 2006-formed multi-platinum act LAFEE. Contrary to his even-keel demeanor he over the years gained quite a reputation as a highly energetic drummer whose solos remained a LAFEE live staple as well as a fan favorite until the band's dissolution in 2009.

In early 2010 Tamon along with his fellow LAFEE companions Ricky, Goran and Klaus co-founded the band TIEF; another two months later the foursome added vocalist Jana Wall to the fold who perfectly completes the group both artistically as well as from a personality standpoint.
